Me and Microsoft

Hello people. ! Here I'm writing something about myself, how I ensconced with Microsoft.

First of all, I surf Internet a lot. With my friend's assistance, I came to know about MSP's (Microsoft Student partners) and he asked me to apply for the same.

We were asked to complete some tasks to become MSP's. I had learnt Windows phone app development and I submitted an app. That's the first task. Then I completed some courses in MVA ( Microsoft Virtual Acadamy ) and submitted my scores. That's it and I did some waiting for months. 

Surprisingly I got selected as a MSP !. Whoooaahhh.  !

Again, my friend cheered me up and I started developing apps for Windows Phone. Till date I had submitted about 3 apps in windows phone store. 

On submitting my apps in DVLUP,  I got some points and with that I got a device ( Nokia Lumia 520 ) free of cost. That's my first reward from DVLUP.

Later on, I engaged myself with CBEUG activities with Coimbatore MSP's and MSA's.

Really I'm feeling so delighted to be a part of Microsoft. I would like to conduct sessions, boot camps and more with my Microsoft buddies. Awaiting for those days. !!

Once again, it's my friend who is behind all my success and achievements. It gives me pride to say myself as a Microsoft Student Partner.

Make sure you don’t do anything illegal or abusive. You will get caught. 

How to hide the folders without using softwares

Follow the steps to hide a folder using command prompt:

1. Open command prompt by choosing Start -- > Then type in "Search box " as cmd and press ENTER.

2. The command prompt window opens. You have to specify the location of the drive.

3. If the folder you wanna hide is present in D drive, then type as d:  (d colon) and press enter.

4. Now enter the command as below :

attrib +s +h FOLDER NAME and press enter.

If your folder name is xyz, then specify as,

attrib +s +h xyz

 5. Now the folder is hidden from your drive. Even if you search in any other way, u wont be able to open the folder. Even if you click the radio button (show all hidden files folders and drives option )in folder options dialog box, the folder won’t be shown. That's it and you are done. !

6. Now if you want the folder back to be shown, you have to give the command as...

attrib -s -h FOLDER NAME  ( dont forgot to change the drive by giving d: )

XP luna theme for windows 7

1) open your internet browser and go to following url ( click the link below )

2) Then click the link " Download XP luna theme for windows 7 " in the web page.

3) The theme will be downloaded and you want to extract it.

4) Now you want to open the themes folder from the extracted items and copy the items in it.

5) Now launch the Start menu and type in the following: C:\windows\resources\themes\

6) Now paste the copied files in it.

7) Now go to ur desktop,then personalize.

8) You can find the Luna theme in the Installed themes.Now click it to apply the theme.
